It was an internship in New York that cemented the friendship – and what would become a lifelong businesspartnership- between designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub. More commonly known by their company name both men were born in Stuttgart and both studied Industrial Design at Stuttgart’s famous design school – the HFG.   In 1994, the pair created their now world-renowned company Jehs + Laub. Since then they have undertaken a wide range of commissions, mainly within the concept of furniture and lighting design. In 2006, they designed the Space Chair, a futuristic-looking Lounge Chair that is suitable for both home and office interiors. Since its inception, Jehs + Laub have gone on to win numerous design awards.
