Legend has it that the original design for the Karuselli Chair was inspired by Kukkapuro's silhouette made in a mound of snow, whilst playing with his daughter. Whether or not this is true, the fable lends explanation to the Chair's playfulness and supreme comfort. Since its creation in 1964, the Karuselli has become a most famous example of modern classic furniture design and features in permanent exhibitions the world-over. Fashioned from a thin-layer of foam and very high quality leather, this chair not only swivels, but also rocks. Our products are reproduced to the style of the original design.
